Our technical department is highly qualified to carry out and manage projects that require prior studies and calculations, as well as specific technical support during execution.
Among the department’s capacities, the following ones outstand:
- Structural analysis using finite element methods (FEM).
- Thickness measurements in accordance with the main Classification Societies (DNV, BV, ABS, LR).
- Feasibility studies and projects for new systems such as, for example: ballast water treatment plants (BWTP), oily water separators (OWS), sewage treatment plants (STP), ….
- Exhaust system upgrade projects. Typical examples include the installation of wet systems, diesel particulate filters (DPF), selective catalytic reduction systems (SCR), ….
- Preparation of repair and installation proposals in accordance with the regulations applicable under Class or Flag requirements.
- “Access Rail System” (ARS) systems and deck anchor points in accordance with EN795:2012 standard.
- Metal repairs to both hull and superstructure.
- Pilot ladders.
- 3D modelling and surface scanning for the preparation of design proposals.
- Management of close collaboration with external designers and engineering firms on specific projects that require it, as well as their subsequent integration into the shipyard’s production process.
