The University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) will launch at the end of January a new edition of the project management course aimed at the nautical industry and focused especially on professionals in the repair sector. The activity, which has the collaboration of Astilleros de Mallorca, is based on the PMBOK guide, which is one of the most widely used international standards in the field of project management.
The students of the course, which will start on January 24th and end on March 9th, will be able to certify training in project management exceeding 35 hours. In this regard, the classes are scheduled to take place at the UIB itself during two weekly sessions, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, three hours each. The price of the course is 800 euros, although its organizers remind that it is subsidizable for companies that register their students in advance, and it will be directed by Antonia Mas, tenured professor at the UIB and director of the University Specialist in Project Management courses.
