Astilleros de Mallorca expands its presence in the Mediterranean alongside VMG Astilleros de Sagunto
Astilleros de Mallorca takes a further step in its growth strategy through a strategic agreement with VMG Astilleros de Sagunto, establishing a new key operational hub on mainland Spain.
As of today, we are operating at the facilities of VMG Astilleros de Sagunto, in Valencia. This collaboration is not simply a geographical expansion, but part of a clear vision: to be present where the industry requires us, maintaining the same technical standards, operational capability and commitment that define Astilleros de Mallorca.
This agreement strengthens our ability to deliver refit and maintenance solutions with greater flexibility, optimizing timelines and bringing us even closer to owners, captains and management companies seeking a reliable technical partner.
This will complement the current capabilities of Astilleros de Mallorca, which consists of its main shipyard and STP facilities in Palma, with a haul out capacity of 1,600t and berths for yachts of up to 120m, and its offices and workshops in mainland Spain, at Marina Port Tarraco and IGY Malaga Marina.
From this new location, we operate within facilities that offer:
– 76,800 m² of operational area
– Offices and specialized workshop
– 5,000t shiplift
– 50t- and 300t travel lifts
– 10t and 2t gantry cranes
